I am getting really excited about our new site. I will be working on it over the next few days as I am receiving my ilife update with some new tools that will make it a lot easier for me to design everything the way I want it today! Hopefully, you will all like it. I will announce the new address (which is likely to be www.whitefamilyblog.com as I said before) as soon as it is ready.

So fun! I'm excited to see it. Oh the advantages to having a computer savvy husband ;-)
He is definitely handy with the computer, but actually...this is all me! In fact, I am working on it now as he is playing the piano and guitar with Jonathan. I am having so much fun learning about all this and having a finished product to show!
Oh, well then, I am very impressed!
I thought you said that Adam has been wanting to do this new website for a while now?
No, he just bought a domain name for me a while back and we haven't used it. I said that he might get more involved with the new site by posting some, putting up picture albums and having his own page or something. I HOPE he will. We will see!
cool idea for a new site. what is the difference between a blogspot.com and a .com?
happy late birthday by the way. sorry i'm so annually awful about remembering those. they're taking joey and katies baby right now as we speak!
Laura, to answer your question about the difference between blogger and .com, it is really just who hosts it (and the address doesn't have to say blogspot in it). On a .com you don't necessarily have templates for the blog design like you do on blogger. With blogger you need to have some html knowledge or find some stuff to copy into your template to make changes (though they did make it easier lately). I am using a mac computer and it has something called iweb that makes it easier to start from scratch and put things where you want them on the page. It also makes it easy for things to look too plain...just something I am encountering with the new site. It will get there though!
