New Baby!

My brother, Stewart, and his wife, Amanda, had their first baby on Monday. It is is girl - Mara Brantley Quarles. I am so excited to have another baby in the family. I love seeing my brother fuss over her. I wouldn't have expected anything different with the way he is about Sydney, but this is definately more entertaining. She is so small. You forget how little a newborn is.

I just realized today that we are approaching the age where Sydney will start getting into things and throwing little fits (she has had a few already). I don't look forward to handling that. She isn't crawling yet, but she is doing her yoga poses to strengthen her back to get ready.
